- The Lahore police have arrested 66 men on charges of harassing and assaulting a woman at Minar-e-Pakistan after their presence at the place of crime was confirmed. A court has sent at least 40 of them to prison for an identity parade (also known as identification parade).
- The Sindh government has decided to keep schools, colleges, and universities in the province closed “until further notice”.
- The son of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz will get married in London today.
- Pakistan’s efforts to evacuate people from Kabul are not being acknowledged internationally, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in an interview with Al Jazeera.
- A Baldia Town resident threw acid on his ex-wife for reportedly posting videos on TikTok. Dr Ehmer Al-Ibran, who is heading the Burns Centre at CHK, told SAMAA Digital that the woman’s upper torso has been 36% burned. Read the full story here.
Minar-e-Pakistan Tiktoker rejects claims it was a ‘publicity stunt’

She said that her team members tried their best to protect her but could not withstand the charged mob, and they were tossed around. “I never told my fans to come and see me there. I did not upload such a video,” the Tiktoker said responding to the social media claims that she had uploaded a video inviting fans to join her at the Minar-e-Pakistan.
